Oil Pollution / Waste Collection Vessel MMS are currently developing and building an aluminium oil pollution vessel which will be exhibited at Seawork 2010.
James Newman The Woolwich ferry James Newman is photographed in the No 2 dry dock, all 3 ferries including the Ernest Bevin and the John Burns have been extensively upgraded at the shipyard during the last year.
City of Chichester United Marine Aggregates owned vessel the City Of Chichester dry docked for various repairs and survey work and is pictured in the No 1 dock.
Far Scotia The offshore support vessel owned by Farstad is photographed in the No 1 dry dock prior to undocking. Whilst undergoing various repairs the hull was grit blasted and re-coated with an Intersleek 2000 paint system.
Islay Trader Faversham Ships vessel the Islay Trader is photographed having her annual survey carried out in the No 2 dry dock.
Highland Spirit The Gulf Offshore vessel Highland Spirit is pictured alongside the MMS repair quay undergoing repairs and de-commissioning of offshore equipment.
Jonsen The general cargo vessel Jonsen is photographed in the No 1 dry dock undergoing annual survey work.
Svitzer Sarah The Svitzer Sarah is photographed in the No 2 dry dock undergoing voith propulsion repairs.
Lightship No 5 The Trinity House lightship No5 is photographed whilst docked in the MMS cradle specially designed for smaller beamed vessels. The lightship dry docked for a complete re coat which required grit blasting to SA 2.5 from keel to truck. Feedback received from the owners superintendent on our customer satisfaction form were "the blasting and painting carried out on this job is the best we have seen for 10 years".
Beaumont Faversham Ships general cargo vessel the Beaumont was dry docked for a classification renewal and painting and is pictured in the No2 dry dock.
Energy Enhancer The Jack Up Rig ENERGY ENHANCER required the assistance of MMS to carry out specialist pipe welding and fabrication work whilst moored in the River Humber. MMS supplied coded welders and platers to carry out fabrication work and specialist pipe welding onboard the drilling jack up rig Energy Enhancer whilst at anchor in the River Humber. This is the second time within the last year that offshore operators have requested the expertise of MMS to carry out specialist work on oil/gas rigs. Previous to this contract, our welders worked on the Ensco 80 whilst moored in the Humber.
Verity The cargo vessel Verity is pictured in dry dock under going main engine replacement.
Ramco Energy The Polish managed offshore support vessel Ramco Energy dry docked for class renewal.
Long Sand/Cork Sand The split hopper dredgers Long Sand and Cork Sand were both dry docked simultaneously for special survey renewal.
