Iron MaidenThe MMS construction barge Iron Maiden is photographed transporting the 180 ton Tidal Power Generator into the Humber. The barge has recently been refurbished and modified and can be submersed into the dry dock to off load units weighing upto 300 tons. The Iron Maiden is classed with the American Bureau of Shipping.

Klazina CCarisbrooke Shipping's Klazina C is pictured in the No 2 dry dock. A vessel survey was carried out in Antwerp between the owners and yard representatives which followed a proposal and quotation to replace the main generators. Access holes were cut through the vessel's stern and fore deck to allow renewal of the 2 generating sets. Other work carried out included high pressure washing and painting plus general maintenance. |
