30m fabrication and building berth
The above berths are supplied with shore power, fresh/ballast water, sewage and waste oil collection facilities. Both dry docks are completely floodlit and are serviced by 40 x AC welding machines.
Equipment
Facilities include site cranage, access platforms, fully equipped workshops, high pressure washing, including deck and tank cleaning, grit blasting equipment for external/internal steel preparation, and quality spray equipment.
Security
As well as the security offered by the port authority at Alexandra dock, the Company has installed secure fencing around the entire shipyard to meet ISPS regulations.
Vessel access and gangway security is also available.
Workforce
Our workforce is directly employed anf time-served so you can be sure of quality and reliability. 24 hour working is available where required.
Wet Berth Repairs
The MMS wet berth is highly popular with vessels calling in for routine maintenance and various modifications throughout the year.
Superintendents Office
MMS has offices for ships' superintendents and these have been refurbished to a high standard; they include internet connections and car parking.
